I cannot say enough good things about Meridian Automotive! Best mechanic shop I've ever been too! Car work can be scary, but from start to finish Jonah helped make the process of my car repair go so smooth and painless. I am so thankful! They fixed everything so quick, the price was totally reasonable, even fairly generous, and the customer service was absolutely amazing. I think it's also worth noting that the shop is so clean and the waiting room is very comfortable. Thank you again for everything! We now have a mechanic we can trust anytime we need a car service!

Hayden and the team at Meridian Automotive are awesome. I had an unfortunate experience with a used car purchase that ended up needing significant repair work. Hayden was an excellent communicator at each step of the process and always laid out all the options without pressuring. He helped make it go as well as it could go given the situation I was in. They have a Toyota master tech here so it’s a great option if you have a Toyota.

We dropped off my Denali in the morning, Jonah wrote me up for a oil and filter change and while they had it I asked to have it Detailed inside and out including under the hood. We picked it up that afternoon around 4 pm and it was sitting out front bright and shiny ready to go. Jaedon was the detailer did a beautiful job with the Denali and when I opened the hood it looked better than Brand New. I've been coming here for 2 or 3 yrs and they have taken good care of both of my cars. I'm a car guy and I trust them with my vehicles and I feel their prices are fair.

I brought the old 84 Toyota P/U in, to get the freeze plug block heater replaced ( the old one started gushing coolant) The mechanic fixed it up in no time!

I got a warning light on my dashboard display, so my neighbor recommended Meridian Automotive. Really glad he did! I had some regular service issues that I put off, so they diagnosed the warning light issue and performed my oil change, transmission fluid change and new wipers. I didn't have to wait because they provided transportation home and back again! Everyone was friendly and Kyle provided excellent explanations of what was needed, why and what was done. I'm going back again in a few days for an alignment after purchasing new tires. Very glad I found this company!

We have been bringing our cars here for about 10 years whether it’s for an oil change, tune up, alignment or other services we just love Meridian Automotive! The service and commitment to making sure your vehicle is running right when you leave with it is better then any other repair shop I’ve ever used! And 3 year- or 36,000 mile warranty on parts they replace gives me even greater peace of mind! I wont Take my cars anywhere else !

First time at your shop we were given a friendly welcome. Hayden was very helpful we needed an estimate, he took his time explaining everything. We’re seniors so we had a lot of questions. We ended up being able to leave our van for extensive repairs felt comfortable doing so. .

I had the pleasure of working directly with Jacqueline and she was VERY professional, helpful and communicated with me throughout the whole process. She helped identify I had a warranty that their shop accepted and did all the leg work. She truly went above and beyond any expectations I had. Jacqueline is my gal!! I was in a bind with a lock problem on my car. I was terrified I would accidentally lock my kiddo in the car one day and wouldn't be able to get her out. I called Meridian Automotive and Jacqueline answered the phone promptly with such kindness in her voice. I expressed my problem. She advised me to see if maybe the battery in my key was dying before taking my car in. I did that and unfortunately it did not work. I called back. Lovely Jacqueline answered and immediately knew it was me. I let her know that it didn't work out but was very interested in getting my car in to be looked at. I drove over to be greeted by her at the front desk. We talked for a few minutes, set an appointment that would work with my schedule to have a diagnostic completed same day of the appointment. I arrived at open today. She promised to let me know what was going on with a repair quote by 3:00. I got the quote before 3:00. It gave me enough time to walk a couple miles back to the shop from home since that was my only vehicle. I got back and my gal, Jacqueline, was there!! She is the sweetest person. While I chose not to move forward with a repair at the moment to decide my options, I was still so happy with the impeccable service I received. I felt like she and I became besties at this point!! She is honest, kind, and is the cornerstone of what classic customer care is all about. I feel confident that I will be a repeat customer so long as she is there!!

My 1995 Ford Probe would not start so it had to be towed to Meridian Automotive. Another shop replaced the fuel pump but after a week it would not start again. So trying a new place has worked the problem was actually a crankshaft sensor. Jacqueline in the office is really a super person informing me daily sometimes more than once on the status of my vehicle. I have never seen anyone so efficient and friendly while being so busy on her job. So if you bring your vehicle to them you will be informed often which is nice

We were on our way to a wedding in Atlanta, Idaho from Northern Nevada when we started experiencing engine problems near Jordan Valley. I called several Ford Dealerships in Boise and none could get me in. One of the dealers referred me to Meridian Automotive. Jaqueline took our call, and the customer service she provided was Michelin Star level. She coordinated the drop off of my Ford-150, got us lined up with a rental truck from the nearby Enterprise, and answered all of our questions and concerns. Jaqueline was a calm in the storm we were experiencing. The rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly as well. I brought my F-150 pickup truck in to meridian automotive with a brake system light on. I know absolutely nothing about automotive repair and the amazing employees at meridian automotive went above and beyond to take the time and explain everything to me. They were able to locate a part that no other shop including the Ford dealership could find. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had at any automotive shop in the country! I will not be taking my truck anywhere else to have work done on it!

I called Meridian Automotive around 8am to get my alignment checked. I went fishing a few days before and hit many of holes, washouts, etc. They had my car up and diagnosed that i had managed to bend my struts out in an epic way. They were able to find me new assemblies reducing labor cost, and keeping performance at optimum. Anyway they saved me close to $500 and had her all fixed up in 4 hours.

Tire shop broke a post on one of my wheels, so I was referred to Meridian Automotive to get it repaired. (Thankfully the tire shop never made whether they would pay for it a question.) I called at 11:30am hoping to set up a time to get it fixed before the end of the week, and by 2:45pm the same day I was on my way home with the repair complete. Super impressed, so much so that I think I'll be moving my business from my current shop going forward.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, taking calls from a family member, who called frequently wanting updates on the status of the car. I received texts and calls bringing me up to date on the condition of the car, keeping me informed. If there was more cost involved, a call would be placed notifying of the situation & asking if the work could continue so I was not surprised by the cost or time it took, which was not long. Took our 2002 Chevy Trailblazer in for its third steering rack/ball joint replacements (from other shops that shall not be mentioned), a heat vent actuator replacement, and a water pump replacement. Par for the course for 151,000 mile rig. So far so good! I realize it's hard to find good legacy refurbished parts much less new OEM for these "antiques". Sorry to hear that our former service advisor Brian Ramos is no longer with the company. We took the car into him on a Wednesday. The following week we went to pick the car up after repairs were completed on a Thursday and I was informed that he had been terminated sometime during the repair process. I worked with Brian at Micron for quite a few years. I can't imagine what he could have done to be terminated, but that's life I guess. Will still be bringing the antique into Meridian automotive for the foreseeable future. Until she finally lets the smoke out and drives off into the sunset....or to a CarMax ...

Guys were super honest and kind. They suspected the problem was fuel pump related so they went in to replace it and found out it was something else. So, they called me right away and told me what it was, and that it would be significantly cheaper to fix. It was a problem that a previous mechanic could not figure out after a month of my truck being there. I’m very happy with the service.

Friendly and helpful staff! Our 1st time there and they were thorough in their work and kindly showed me what service they performed on our vehicle that we had to have towed there. Brian was great in staying in communication with us throughout the time our vehicle was getting repaired and immediate access through texts of work needed and performed by accepting or declining service or services. When picked up our vehicle, they were super friendly and establishment very clean. So far I give them a 10!

I am a mechanical engineer, and I require perfection for my wife’s car services. Lexus wants roughly $1000 just to do a 30,000 mile oil change service. Meridian did this plus a complete inspection of her car to make sure it was absolutely safe; and they did it for roughly 1/3 The price of Lexus or Toyota dealerships. An honest professional service facility is the best find I’ve made so far in Idaho. Meridian automotive repair, thank you. I know that my wife is safe when she’s driving

Recently took my Ford truck in due to a check engine light that had been on for a few days and it started to run rough. Nick & the team there were able to figure out the issue and give me a quote within the same day of my appointment. It was a bummer that my turbo's were the cause but I had a suspicion going into this and had already called around for a few quotes. Meridian Automotive was right in the middle of those quotes but their attention to detail impressed me as well as the outstanding warranty, just like a new car! Nick kept up communication daily as they were working through my project via text message which I really appreciated, not having to guess how my truck was coming along helped substantially. They even called me up and asked if I was available to come down and see the vehicle repair in process after they noticed some stripped bolts from a previous owners attempted repairs. They stayed within their expected budget except for the extra bolts but that's totally understandable. The technicians I spoke with, Gary & Tyler I believe were also super great and helped me understand a little bit more about my truck then I did. Thank you Meridian Automotive! I'll certainly be back.

This was my first experience with Meridian Automotive, I was extremely impressed. They did what I asked them to do (alignment) without trying to sell me more services etc. The office staff was polite and friendly. I will have no issues in the future taking my vehicle here from Nampa. I've been through both of the "best ones" in Nampa and compared to meridian automotive they just took my money and didn't align my vehicle.

I was recently hit on hw44 resulting in my vehicle "Totalled" and being forced into a long, extensive search for a replacement vehicle in a high- inflation market. I asked for referrals and advice about different vehicle makes, models, and always received gracious responses. I requested a pre-purchase inspection and they squeezed that in between their busy schedule which helped me determine the best vehicle to buy. Meridian Automotive is amazing to work with! I requested an appt online they reached out to me that same day! I was able to get my car in the following day! They did a complete inspection and provided a report of all diagnostics on my vehicle. They mentioned an item to think about changing but did not pressure me to do it and made it clear that it’s not something that had to be done right away. I picked up my vehicle the same time they said it would be ready! They were all very professional and great to work with AND to top it all off I walked away with the inspection report (that included pictures) and they followed up with me about 5 days after they completed the work to make sure my brakes were in good shape. They were amazingly HONEST. I was told by other Mechanics I had a transaxle seal leaking...another one told me the oil plug was leaking. Come to find out I had NO leaks. You understand they could have gone ahead an charged me replacing the seal an I would have known no difference. They even steamed cleaned underneath which was long over do...these guys fall into the very small percentage of honesty in this industry. Will I go back 100% Betty, Hines, Oregon

It’s very helpful to have a more accurate idea what to budget for down the road regarding car maintenance. Moved my son from Seattle to Meridian for school. Pulling into his apt, he lost power steering and brakes. Starting school in three days, we became panicked as we called multiple shops and received the response that they could look at the truck in a week. Finally contacted Meridian Automotive and they said get it towed to them. Not only did they looked at it same day (after 5 PM), but had it fixed within 24 hours. We appreciated the online updates as they checked every inch of the truck. Thank you Meridian Automotive for the positive experience and giving us reassurance that our son’s truck will be taken care of living so far from home.

We took our car to another repair shop in the area, 5 times, and they couldn't find out what was wrong with the car. We took it to Meridian Auto and worked with Brian. After a detailed test, they found the problem. Brian called to tell us the news. We went in and talked to him. He said we had two options, fix it or declare it totaled. We thought about it over the weekend and went in on Monday. We asked him what he would do, he told us the truth!! Never tried to feed us with STUFF, right up front with us. The car was fixed and driving great. We would highly recommend everyone to take their car to them. They will be up front with you. Thanks Brian and Meridian Automotive for the awesome job!!

I called and the women that assisted me, wish I had gotten her name, was very friendly on the phone. She heard me out and scheduled me for maintenance the same afternoon. I love that they text you pre-work estimates, requests for authorizations and the costs for each repair. I loved that their text with the estimate was very easy to understand. Once I approved the work by text, within an hour, I had an update on the repairs. I got my car back the same afternoon. This is my second time going to them because they are fast and transparent. We heard an awful sound when turning on the fan for heat or a/c. Brian diagnosised it and got a replacement fan motor. Turns out a piece of plastic was the issue nothing else. We searched around and chose them to work on a 1968 Lincoln Continental we inherited, and we couldn't have been happier with the work they did! They were excellent about communicating timelines and cost, and the finished product exceeded expectations. Took a 2nd vehicle there (daily driver) for a coolant leak. After work was done, noticed it still had a leak, guess what?!? They called me back for a follow up! Who does that these days? Got it in, leak fixed for free and promptly.

During repairs they tried multiple times to charge my battery and it wouldn’t charge so they called me up and suggested I take it in because it appeared to still be under warranty. I was referred to Meridian Automotive from another mechanic shop. The first thing they did was a thorough inspection and evaluation for a reasonable price. Unlike the Dealership, they gave me a precise diagnosis of the problem, and were prepared to do repairs on the actual problem. The dealership didn't diagnose the problem, and just recommended a new engine. Unfortunately the diagnosed problem required a complete engine rebuild. Hanna, my service advisor was very helpful and explained the whole process up front. I was given a price up front, and a time frame for repairs. Throughout the repair, Hanna kept me updated on the progress, and also advised me of any additional repairs or costs involved. They even took photos, and showed me old and new parts going in. There was GREAT COMMUNICATION and excellent customer service throughout the whole process. My mechanic Gary did an excellent job, and he had all the tools and facilities at his disposal to do the entire engine rebuild in shop. All the tooling and block and head resurfacing and machining was done in house, not sent out to a third party. I was very impressed with the facilities and capabilities of Meridian Automotive. Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the skills of the ASE Certified Mechanics, and the professional interaction with the font office staff. It is extremely difficult to find an honest, fair, and trustworthy mechanic these days. I have found that at Meridian Automotive. I will definitely be back for all of my Mechanic needs! I trust them to work on any of my vehicles! Thank you !

When I took my car in, their was a few things wrong with it. I had been putting off taking my car in because of the expense. But once I found Meridian Automotive they were so wonderful from the get go and I felt that the quote they gave me was very affordable. I had received a quote before them that was an arm and a leg but the price Meridian Automotive gave me was affordable and I didn't think twice in having them fix my car. They were wonderful to work with they keep you up to date on everything and I really appreciated that even once I picked up my car they still called me a few days later checking in to see how my car was running. This will definetly be my go to place and Ill be recommending them to anyone I know that has vehicle issues.
