The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

In 1972 the non-profit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence was established. ASE’s mission is to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals. Anyone seeking to become ASE Certified must pass at least one exam and provide two years of relevant work experience. The certified technicians have to be re-tested every 5 years.

Meridian Automotive was awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence by ASE in 2006 and has retained that designation every year since.

We currently have 6 Master Certified Technicians. Master Certified Technicians are qualified in all eight general automotive areas that are engine repair, automatic transmission, manual drive train and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.

We have been an accredited BBB business since August 1996. This means BBB has determined that we meet the BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. We have always maintained their highest rating since we have been accredited.

We have been a AAA Approved Auto Repair facility for the past ten years. We have met all the requirements of the Approved Repair program and we have passed a stringent inspection of the following areas:
